If you have used those pots for other plants, you need to soak them in 1 part bleach and 9 part water solution for about 10 minutes. It will eliminate all the unnecessary particles and will create an ideal environment for your tomato seeds to grow. After the cleaning process, you need to fill the pots with potting compost.
